Mari Mari Backpackers Lodge. Accommodation are standalone "Sulap" (hut or cabin in the native Kadazandusun language) on stilts. Each Sulap is equipped with lighting and socket points, and wall fan.
There are 3 types of Sulaps - Sulap with Common Bathroom, Sulap with Attached Bathroom & Sulap with Attached Bathroom & Seaview Balcony.
Guests are provided with a bed, blanket and pillow in the room.
Bath towel, shower gel & shampoo are provided for Sulaps guests. Nevertheless, you are advised to bring along personal toiletries and towel though some basic items may be purchased at our Manta Shop.
Sayang-Sayang Hostel provides 2 types of room; Family- Corner Sea-view room with 4 beds and, Dormitory with 6 nits of beds in each room. All bathrooms are on sharing basis.
All bathrooms are equipped with electrical hot water shower and is available during the island’s regular electricity supply time, i.e. 6.00pm to 6.00am daily.
Meals are available at the Lodge’s Mari-Mari Canteen.

Outside food are not allowed in the lodge.
Snacks, beverages are available for purchase at the Lodge’s Manta Shop.
Island electricity supply is only available from 6.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. daily. Electricity supply voltage is 240v, 50-cycle system. You will need a 3 square pin contact plug.
Shopping options is almost non-existent. Anything remotely unusual is best brought with you from the city.
Mobile phone reception is not available on the island. The Lodge is nevertheless connected to the outside world by telephone and internet through satellite link (you can make calls - chargeable)

Kampong (Village) A quite walk around the idyllic fishing village for an intimate look of Walk island life in Borneo.
Bird Watching Good for seeing birds that usually nest on island because of the relatively lack of terrestrial predators. The only place in Sabah to see the Mantanani Scoops Owls (Otus Mantananensis).
Sunset Cruise Admire the magnificent sunset off the South China Sea while enjoying a cold drink aboard.
Night Walk Take a walk under the star-lit sky, hear the Mantanani Scops Owls (Otus Mantananensis) call (found only at Mantanani and Palawan Islands) and be amazed by the “Kelip-Kelip” (fire-flies) lighted X’mas trees.
